View Full Version : Lost Underground Board off Hunstanton

10-10-2006, 01:03 PM
Hi, I lost a green Underground FLX board off Hunstanton on Friday evening (about 5.30) in a moderate SW.. With any luck it will have washed ashore somewhere up toward the point but it could be in Norway now for all i know. It had one slightly chipped fin (and hopefully still only one)

My name and number washed off (and that was on the "to do" list) but if anyone finds it, my name is Maeve and can be reached at 07895416346 or 00353861062601 or ryan.maeve@gmail.com

There would be a reward for anyone who finds it. One involving money and beer and endless gratitude. I am a financially challenged student and this is looking like the end of my kiting days for months and months.

Thanks for reading and looking forward to hearing good news!!

Hi Maeve,

I'm the little geordie bloke you chatted to fri...

I actually did a bit of 'beachcombing' early sat morning from Old Hunny to Holme - but didn't spot it unfortunately...

If it winds up in the hands of a local kiter - I'm sure they'll post on here or drop it in at oceanside (www.oceanside.co.uk)

On the other hand - sometimes items get picked up by fishermen and end up on ebay - so it's worth ocassionally checking on there now and then... (just ask big phill how he got his kite back!)

I really hope it turns up for you - in the meantime it's worth asking on here if anyone's got a spare board they might lend you...
