Joining next year but not through BKSA

Ok is it possible to join without being anything to do with BKSA?

I have a few issues with em but thats not for here plus for land i need to have BPKA insurance for use of sites and if i also did get BKSA this would void both polices if i did ver need to claim so will not take that risk

So on that note is it possible?

As a BKSA club we'd obviously prefer everyone to join through them.

One issue is the free club insurance we get as a BKSA-affiliated club. This allows us to put on demos, comps, socials etc safe in the knowledge that we are covered as a club AS WELL AS each members individual insurance.

Last year I asked the insurers - Perkins Slade - whether BBC insurance would be acceptable regards this club insurance and they replied that it would be OK as it comes under the same policy.

Is BPKA the new BBC? Are they using Perkins Slade again?

Yes bbc is now BPKA insurance is the same

i too will not be renewing my BKSA Insurance ive decided to pack it all in !!

but i will be a member of the BPKA from now on personal reasons so to speak
