First off, unlucky. It happens to most of us at some time or other.
1) Most importantly: If you've lost a board or kite in the sea please, please, please inform the coastguard. Their telephone number is 01485 532597. If you don't do this and someone finds your board/kite they a) won't know who to return it to and b) will probably start a wasted search for you.
2) Get in touch with Sven or Bianca at Oceanside on 01485 534455. A lot of items get handed in there.
3) Make a post in this forum with as much detail as possible including the date/time your kit was lost, the wind direction and state of tide (and hence the area you expect the kit might be heading) etc.
Hopefully if you follow this little guide and get lucky you will be re-united with your kit.
