Kite Beasts 2009

Following the success of the 2008 Kite Beasts event.... we're doing it all over again and this time it's going to be even bigger and better!

So, would you to be involved in helping to organise and run KiteBeasts 2009? I'm going to need beach marshalls, general helpers, competition judges, runners, flag wavers, dancers, dog biscuits, bingo callers and more...

I'm hoping to get as many interested people as possible together in a pub (venue TBC) on Thursday night next week (11th June) to talk about initial ideas and to get the ball rolling.

The dates for KB09 have already been set: It's the 16-18 October. Tides will be better than last year.

Even if you're not able to make next Thursday, if you'd like to get involved please let me know by posting here or by emailing marcus@kitebeasts.com.

Hi Marcus - I'd love to get involved and help out (as long as the Sunny Honeys can take part!!) - where and when are you meeting on Thurs? - I'm on nights this week which might make it a little tricky, but could hopefully make another meet up. I volunteer to do dog biscuit duty!!

Cheers everyone. The meeting is at 8pm at the Queen Vic pub in Snettisham. If you can't make it don't worry - this is just an initial meeting to get an idea of the number of willing helpers we've got and to throw some ideas around.
