My thanks to the police officer on duty at the sailing club for calling out the coastguard for me. It was a comforting thought knowing if I had needed them, they were there. But fortunately I was trained to self rescue and made my own way back to shore. It was quite embarrassing having an ambulance, coastguard patrol and hovercraft plus a police officer greet me as I walked from the sea. A heart felt thanks to you all anyway.
It could have had a different ending if things had gone wrong. :cool:evil.

What happened for need of self rescue - Lack of wind ?
