We took delivery of new picnic tables today 🙂
We’d ordered 3 and then wonderful, charming, generous former-club secretary Lesley Lees offered to pay for a fourth!

Push the Boat Out
This coming Sunday May 21st we are offering FREE Taster sessions for sailing, SUP & kayak with RYA Push The Boat Out.
This is a great opportunity to get out on the water to enjoy the stunning surroundings, meet some great people who are passionate about various water sports and to try all these sports for yourself in a safe supported environment.
From racing across the water on a high performance catamaran, cruising in a Quba or paddling your way along the shore line on a paddle board or kayak, there is something to suit all tastes and levels of confidence.
Come along between 1300-1700 on Sunday with your friends and family to make the most of this fantastic opportunity 🙂

Kitesurf Safety Day 4th June
Hunstanton Sailing Club are running a kitesurf safety day where qualified kitesurfing instructors will cover the following:
Checking equipment over, safety systems etc
Deep water pack downs/self rescue with safety boat cover
Running through scenarios
Afterwards we’ll light the BBQ and open up the bar!
HSC Members Free of Charge / Non members £10 to cover parking/day membership of HSC and safety boat running costs.

Bags of Help
If you shop in Hunstanton or Heacham Tesco’s – keep an eye out for the ‘Bags of Help’ section where you can vote for three local projects – one of which is for some new SUP’s for Hunstanton Sailing Club 🙂
Each time you make a purchase you get a token (unless you use the self-service tills) – place the token in the slot of the project you’d like to support 🙂
The promotion runs throughout May and June…

Beach clean
Big thanks to everyone who joined in with the Beach Clean on Saturday 🙂 Over 50 people turned up to help and lots of things cleared up from clothing to broken bottles, metal bars, plastic containers etc. Special thanks to Samantha Rutt from Barefoot SUP for organising it along with help from Hunstanton Watersports, Hunstanton Kayaks and Hunstanton Round Table
